Hey all!
This is a big month at HG HQ! We have a lot in the works, some big dates coming up, and lots of ideas!
First thing’s first: new products coming to the Hoodie Goodies lineup!
Fully resin keychains. I knew I wanted to do keychains when I started, and one of the friends who sent me a bunch of shed set some aside from a beloved snake (an adult male Bredl’s Python named Sam) and asked for a keychain made of his shed. So I did one better; I took a portion of his massive, muscular head and cast it on a mold that I got specifically for keychains. After sanding and buffing, I finally have the keychain ready. So now it’s just getting some pictures, posting it on the website, and shipping it off! I am really excited about having these on offer on HG. I may have to make a few more just for a variety and have a bit of stock like my pendants.
Full sets of D&D dice. The cast I got is coming today! I am first going to make a few sets without shed to perfect my craft. I’ve seen from folks that exclusively do dice that there is a lot that goes into the professional dice crafting, including pressure pots. I am hoping that I can make it work without a pressure pot. If the dice sell big, that’s something I can look into in the future. For now, though, it’s just pouring techniques and a heat gun for me! Be patient on this one. I can post the good shed-free sets to a scaleless collection that I’ve been meaning to start. On that note…
The scaleless collection. I have made a pendant and set of earrings as a gift for a birthday (Happy 80th, grandma!!!) that I just need to take some photos of and post. My grandma it’s the biggest fan of snakes, although the has called Deci cute on one occasion, but I wouldn’t make her something that she outright won’t wear. I think a few of us have family and friends like this, so in comes the scaleless collection.

In other news, some of the new babies to join the HG family will be sent this month! On top of that, I have a birthday this month! There might be something on the horizon based on that, but we shall see! I love this time of year, when the climate (hopefully) starts to chill out, the leaves start turning, and life starts to finally settle in after the chaos of summer. Summer 2026 felt like it lasted for years, amirite? Here’s to fall!
